Welcome parents and carers to year two semester one at Sunset school. This website will explain how and why we use ICT in year two classroom. Information and Communication technologies are used in education programs to integrate teaching and learning practices that engage with digital technologies. Our classroom has four iPad's, one interactive whiteboard, 4 computers, 3 digital camera's for the children to engage with in their learning. 

 

 

Sunset school has an ongoing focus on the teaching of English, Mathematics and Science which aligns with the Australian curriculum. I will be providing examples that will demonstrate how ICTs will enhance their learning and development. The Australian Curriculum and Assessment Reporting (ACARA, 2010), provides relevant and engaging learning programs that addresses individual learning needs.
